Handmade Uniqueness
Each Memory Bear is handmade and completely one of a kind. No two bears will be exaclty the same, even when made from similar fanrics. This uniqueness is what makes your bear so special.
Fabric Handling
Customer-supplied materials are handled with the utmost care and respect. We understand the emotional scgnificance of every piece of fabric entrusted to us and treat it accordingly.
Fragile Materials
While we handle all fabrics with care, we cannot be held responsible for extremely fragile, delicate, or irrelaceable materials that may naturally deteriorate during the sewing process.
Fabric Return
All unused fabric will be carefully returned with your finished Memory Bear unless you specify otherwise. We want you to have every precious piece.
How much fabric do I need to send?
For a 12-inch bear, we recommend at least one adult sized shirt or equivalent fabric. For an 18-inch bear, you’ll need slighlty more approximatley 1.5 shirts or similar amount of fabric. We’ll work with what you have and can combine pieces if needed.
What types of fabric work best
Most clothing fabrics worked beautifull including cotton shirts, flannel, denim, fleece, and soft knits. We can work with wedding dress fabrics, baby clothes, sports jerseys, and military uniforms, pretty much all fabrics. Very stretchy or extremely delicate fabrics may require special handling.
Can you make multiple bears from the same clothing?
Yes! If you have enough fabric, we can create multiple bears for siblings, family members, or as a gifts. This is a wonderful way to share cherished memories among loved ones.
Can I request specific placement of patterns or logos?
Absolutely! While we can’t guarantee exact placement due to pattern limitations, we’ll do our best to feature special details, logos, or meaningful patterns prominently on the bear. Just imclude notes with your fabric.
What if I change my mind after ordering?
We understand emotions can be complex when dealing with memorial items. If you need to cancel before sending your fabric, please contact us. Once fabric is recieved and cut, we cannot process cancellations or refunds as materials have been permanently altered.
